On Saturday, the 31st of October 2020 at 2pm SARA members have met again, this time at Seychelles Maritime Academy (SMA) for the purpose of sitting a Mock Exam.
Seychelles Maritime Academy is located within Industrial part of Mahe Island in the Seychelles. In the past few months The Chairman of SARA has been working very hard establishing the relationship with SMA and also ensuring the IT equipment is fully compatible with RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain) new Online Examination System.
Since two Months ago members of SARA who are interested in going forward to do their best with obtaining Radio Amateur License, have been studying hard with help of RSG License Manuals and other Online materials.
This Saturday was very exciting time for those who came to sit the Mock Exam which was done on the paper, Mock Exam was invigilated by SARA Chairman Mr Richard Perks who is also approved exam invigilator for the final Exam. The Mock Exam lasted for two hours, some members performed Two Mock Exams at Foundation License level, those who signed-up for Full License did only one Mock Exam as it consisted of 58 Questions in total.
In the next few days the results of the Mock Exam will be available to the members.
